Beginning in June 1931, Ford offered grain bodies for both the AA157 and AA131. These bodies were constructed of hard wood with heavy flooring. The permanent grain sides with flare boards were installed with malleable iron supports at each cross sill (external to the cargo area). There was a hinged/folding door in the grain body tail gate.
Extension grain sides and extension stock sides were available as optional equipment. The entire stock rack tail gate was painted white for good visibility at night. The grain body flare and rail boards included pockets for either the extension grain or the extension stock sides. Equipment could be ordered as three options/prices. However, the FMC ART only shows counts for the Combination option. The gallery shows examples of the AA157 body and extensions.

For the dimensions table above, note that Ford advertisements show cargo area dimensions rather than physical dimensions.
Cargo Area column dimensions are of the area inside the permanent sides. The “height” is a measurement from the cargo floor.
